Compression Garments

Compression garments help keep swelling down and work to eliminate bruising at a faster rate and assist loose skin in retracting and tightening after liposuction.

Garment should match your measurements and fully cover the treatment area

  • For abs we recommend adding a binder that covers from below breast to hips
  • Thighs needs to go to above waist to just above knee
  • Arms need to be sleeve going from shoulder below elbow
  • Chin need a head strap garment and/or KT Tape

Take your measurements to pick the right size, if you are on the edge or fit 2 different sizes, go with the bigger size. You may need a stage 2 garment in a smaller size as your swelling goes down to keep pressure on area.

Lab Work

All patients are required to get Complete Blood Count (CBC) and a Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) blood work done and submitted to our practice within 30 days of your procedure.

Many people use their primary care physician, otherwise feel free to use either of these labs.

Based on the results of these tests, or your medical history, you may be required to obtain clearance from your primary care provider.
